About Us

Lakeshore College, formerly known as Lakeshore Technical College, is a comprehensive community and technical college educating more than 9,000 students annually. Students can explore more than 60 career paths with flexible two and four-year options, apprenticeships, and online certificate programs. Lakeshore has multiple campuses in Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties. Employers also utilize Lakeshore’s Workforce Solutions to certify and upscale employee skills.

Lakeshore serves as a primary provider of higher education to community residents and a vital supplier of skilled workers to regional industries, thereby enhancing overall workforce productivity. Lakeshore demonstrates a commitment to excellence through its focus on workforce preparation, access and affordability, institutional effectiveness, and responsiveness to community needs. Partnerships in the community, with businesses and with education, both K-12 and post-secondary, are key to building career pathways which help keep the economy strong.

Approximately 800 students graduate per year. Within six months of graduation, surveyed associate degree holders report a median salary of $55,698. Furthermore, 95% of our graduates express high satisfaction with their education, with 96% securing employment within six months of graduation, predominantly within Wisconsin.
