Alpacas, Llamas, and Rabbits Star at Farm Wisconsin’s Sixth Annual Extravaganza

MANITOWOC, WI—Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center announces the sixth annual Alpaca Llama Extravaganza, presented in partnership with longtime collaborators Black Frog Farm and LondonDairy Alpaca Ranch. Taking place Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., this popular event invites guests to enjoy up-close encounters with curious alpacas, llamas, and–new this year–rabbits.

Designed for animal lovers of all ages, the Alpaca Llama Extravaganza offers hands-on opportunities to learn what makes alpacas and llamas unique through trivia, matching games, and engaging conversations with experts, creating a fun and educational experience for the whole family.

The return of this event also includes several exciting new experiences:

Alpaca & Llama Feeding Experience: These behind-the-scenes opportunities allow attendees to go inside the alpaca and llama pens for snuggles, personal interactions, and the chance to feed the animals. These experiences are available for an additional $5 per person and can be purchased at the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rabbit Hopping Demonstration: Watch as rabbits skillfully navigate an obstacle course under the guidance of local 4-H youth. After observing the demonstration, visitors are invited to try rabbit hopping themselves in this unique experience.

Drop Spindle Spinning Demonstration: Get up close as an expert spins alpaca and llama fiber into beautiful yarn, and explore a selection of finished products available for purchase.

All activities—excluding the alpaca and llama feeding experience—are included with general admission to Farm Wisconsin. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or in person on the day of the event.
