APPLETON, Wis. (September 2026) – Fox Communities Credit Union has promoted Andrew Opicka to VP of IT – Information Governance, Risk & Security. Opicka joined Fox in 2020 and advanced to AVP IT – Information Security & Risk. This promotion recognizes the leadership, expertise and steady approach he brings to the organization every day.
 
The VP of IT - Information Governance, Risk & Security serves as the credit union's Information Security Officer (ISO) and is responsible for leading the organization's information governance, technology risk management, information security, physical security, and resilience programs.
 
This position provides strategic leadership and oversight for technology governance, risk, security, and resilience capabilities aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, helping ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, and recoverability of information and critical member services.
 
The role is recognized as a subject matter expert in information governance, security, and risk, partnering across the organization to promote sound governance practices, effective risk management, and a culture of security, accountability, and continuous improvement.
