Climate Reality with Jeff Steuer                                                Monday, January 20, 6-7:30 PM
There are those that believe in climate shift wholeheartedly, while others steadfastly maintain that climate change is a hoax. Seems like finding common ground on the topic is an arduous task, right? As a first step in bridging the gap, what about an open, data-driven conversation driven by reliable sources? That sound like a good start, doesn't it? That's where Jeff Steuer’s “Climate Reality” presentation comes into play. "Climate Reality" covers:
  • The Science of Climate Change—its causes and impacts, including the latest developments in climate science, how the crisis is impacting the world today, and the urgency of shifting from fossil fuels to renewables
  • Global View—how is climate change transforming daily life around the world
  • Solutions—What's available right now

Following Jeff's presentation, the program will turn to becoming a conversation, open to include attendees' questions and concerns. Because, here's the crux of the issue: Is there hope? What can we do? And what would it take, climate-wise, to bring everyone together under the same tent? For more information on Jeff’s background, head to www.manitowoclibrary.org/event/climate-reality-jeff-steuer-19865.
