									| The Manitowoc County Historical Society will present a Hungry for History series program about maritime archaeology on Wednesday, November 12 at 5 pm at Branch Station, 8112 Village Drive in Whitelaw. The lecture style program will take place at 5 pm with a meal to follow. 
 "Maritime Archaeology and Shipwrecks of Manitowoc County" will be presented Caitlin Zant, WSCNMS Research Coordinator and Maritime Archaeologist. Designated in 2021, Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary (WSCNMS) provides stewardship for our nation's maritime heritage in Lake Michigan. Co-managed by NOAA and the State of Wisconsin, the sanctuary expands on the state's 30-year management of these historic sites, bringing new opportunities for research, resource protection, and education.
 Advanced registration is required, preferably one week prior to the program. The cost is $35. MCHS Members receive a 15% discount.
