Nominations Now Open for United Way's 2026 Volunteer Impact Awards

United Way Manitowoc County is excited to announce nominations are now open for the 2026 Volunteer Impact Awards. We’re honored to once again celebrate the remarkable volunteers whose service made a meaningful difference in 2025! 

This year’s event takes place on Thursday, April 16 with breakfast at 8:15am followed by the awards presentation beginning at 9:00am. 

The Impact Awards recognize volunteers in the following categories: 

  • Up & Coming Volunteer Award – Honors an individual age 18 or younger who has shown initiative in community involvement.
  • Lifetime Achievement Volunteer Award – Celebrates an individual with a lifelong commitment to volunteerism and significant contributions to the community.
  • Volunteer of the Year Award – Recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond through volunteerism in the past year.
  • Volunteer Leadership Award – Acknowledges a volunteer demonstrating exceptional leadership and community impact.
  • Team Volunteer Award – Honors a team that has volunteered together on a community project. 
Nominations are open now through January 31, 2026. Nominees must have completed volunteer work in Manitowoc County between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. Nominations are open to all eligible individuals and teams, including the option to nominate oneself.
