Nurse of the Year awards announced at HSHS hospitals in Green Bay, Sheboygan and Oconto Falls
GREEN BAY, Wis. - Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is pleased to announce the *2024 Nurse of the Year award winners from hospitals in Green Bay, Sheboygan and Oconto Falls.
Nurse of the Year award recipients are honored for demonstrating passion, quality and excellence in nursing and carrying out the core values of HSHS: Respect, Care, Competence and Joy. They are nominated by nursing colleagues and chosen by nursing leadership and the hospitals’ Professional Nurse Practice Council.
Nurse of the Year award recipients:
Tracy Sauve, BSN, RN, HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay – Interventional Radiology: “I see patients from all walks of life, some with more needs than others, but I treat my patients as well as their families with the respect and compassion they all deserve.”
Lindsey Unright, BSN, RN, CEN, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, Green Bay – Emergency Department: “After years of experience, training and certifications, I am still learning, growing and sharpening my skills so I can deliver the highest level of care and support to my patients. I love working for a faith-based organization where I can provide care for my patients both physically and spiritually.”
Kayla Korb, BSN, RN, CEN, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan – Emergency Department: “I demonstrate my passion for nursing by remembering what got me to this point and being the best nurse I can for my patients and community. I am passionate about making a positive difference in my patients’ lives through my nursing care. I hope I’ll inspire someone to join the nursing world as nurses once inspired me.”
Stephanie Meyer, BSN, RN, HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls – Surgical Services: “Being a nurse has given me the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. By consistently demonstrating compassion and trust, I show my patients that I genuinely care. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to do what I’m passionate about and to make a positive impact every day.”
