Roncalli Catholic Schools Announces Football Coach Paul Kinsella Stepping Down After 13 Years of Service
 
MANITOWOC, Wis., ‑ Roncalli Catholic Schools announced today that head football coach Paul Kinsella is stepping down from his role following 13 years of dedicated service to the Roncalli High School football program and school community.
 
Coach Kinsella served as an assistant coach from 2013–2019 before being named head coach in 2020, a position he held through the 2025 season. Since joining Roncalli, Coach Kinsella has been a steady leader on and off the field, shaping the lives of countless student-athletes through his commitment to excellence, faith, and character. Under his leadership, the football program experienced sustained success while remaining rooted in the values and mission of Roncalli Catholic Schools. Most recently, the team capped off the 2025–26 season as Eastern Wisconsin Conference champions, a fitting reflection of the culture and standard Coach Kinsella established throughout his tenure.
 
“Coach Kinsella’s impact extends far beyond wins and losses,” said Nathan Kaderabek, Roncalli Catholic Schools Athletic Director, “He has been a mentor, a role model, and a tireless advocate for our students. His legacy will be seen in the young men he helped form and the culture he built within our athletic program.”
 
Throughout his tenure, Coach Kinsella emphasized discipline, teamwork, and personal growth, fostering an environment where students were challenged to become leaders both on the field and in their everyday lives. His dedication to Roncalli’s mission helped strengthen the connection between athletics, academics, and faith.
 
“Serving as the head football coach at Roncalli has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” said Kinsella. “I am grateful for the support of our administration, fellow coaches, families, and especially the student-athletes who made this journey so meaningful. Roncalli will always hold a special place in my heart.”
 
Roncalli Catholic Schools will begin the process of identifying the next leader of the football program in the coming weeks.
