Roncalli Catholic Schools Announces New Signature Event: Bids & Bites
A Night of Community, Faith, Food, & Fundraising — April 25, 2026
 
MANITOWOC, Wis., ‑ Roncalli Catholic Schools is excited to announce Bids & Bites, a brand-new signature community event on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Roncalli High School (2000 Mirro Drive, Manitowoc). This adults-only evening will bring together families, alumni, local businesses, and community members for a celebration of faith, fellowship, and fundraising in support of Catholic education in the Lakeshore area.
 
Bids & Bites merges the most beloved elements of two long-standing Roncalli traditions — the International Food Fair and the Pierside Auction — into one unforgettable experience. The event highlights:

• Mass (4 – 5 p.m.) — All are welcome to come for Mass with Fr. Nicholas Stellpflug in Zimmer Auditorium before the festivities begin.
• Live Music (5 – 7 p.m.) — Enjoy music from local performers as the evening gets underway.
• Auctions — Curated silent, oral, and online auctions featuring a wide variety of items and experiences.
• Local Food & Beverages — Sample offerings from community food partners while browsing auction items.
• Raffles & More — Exciting raffle prizes and additional fun throughout the night.

 
Admission to the in-person event is free, and guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Food and beverage purchases during the event will be made using punch cards available at the venue. Parking will be available on site, and shuttle service will be provided courtesy of Brandt Buses, Inc. from 5:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.
 
 
 
Hosted by Candice Giesen, Director of Advancement, and emcee Jason Prigge with Greg Schramm serving as auctioneer, the oral auction promises to be the lively highlight of the evening.
 
“Bids & Bites reflects the spirit of Roncalli Catholic Schools — one of community, joy, and shared purpose,” said Giesen. “We are thrilled to offer an event that celebrates everything Roncalli while supporting the mission of Catholic education throughout the Lakeshore.”
 
Proceeds from Bids & Bites will benefit programs and priorities throughout Roncalli Catholic Schools, helping provide exceptional faith-based learning opportunities for students from preschool through high school.
