MANITOWOC, Wis., ‑ Roncalli Catholic Schools is pleased to announce Aaron Zepnick as the next head coach of the Roncalli Jets football program.
 
Zepnick, known as “Coach Z,” brings more than 25 years of coaching experience to the role, including time with the Green Bay Blizzard of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He has also served as a licensed WIAA football official for the past 16 years. His experience across multiple levels and sports has shaped a coaching philosophy rooted in discipline, player development, and a team-first culture.
 
Zepnick was selected following a comprehensive search process that identified his leadership style, commitment to faith-based education, and ability to build strong relationships with student-athletes as key strengths. His commitment to faith, character, and service aligns with Roncalli Catholic Schools’ mission of developing the whole student—mind, body, and spirit.
 
“We are thrilled to welcome Aaron Zepnick to Roncalli Catholic Schools as our next head football coach,” said Athletic Director Nathan Kaderabek. “Aaron brings a wealth of experience, strong leadership, and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field. We are excited about what his vision, energy, and commitment will mean for our football program and the future of Jets athletics.”
 
Zepnick and his wife, Hope, are excited to join the Roncalli community. He grew up immersed in football within a Catholic school environment, as his late father coached at Abbot Pennings High School in Green Bay. Zepnick said he is honored to lead the Jets football program and looks forward to building a competitive, disciplined, and character-driven team.
 
He has already begun connecting with student-athletes this offseason, focusing on building a unified team culture ahead of the upcoming season.
 
“I look to lead the Jets football program with purpose, faith, humility, and consistency,” said Zepnick. “I am grateful for the opportunity to build on the traditions and foundations already established at Roncalli High School.”
