Accepts Leadership Role with Diocese of Green Bay
MANITOWOC, Wis., ‑ Roncalli Catholic Schools has announced that Adrienne Lundy, principal of Roncalli Elementary School, will be stepping down from her role effective June 30, 2026, after accepting a new position with the Diocese of Green Bay Office of Catholic Schools.
Lundy has been named Associate Superintendent of Instruction and Academic Accountability, a diocesan leadership role focused on supporting instructional excellence, academic growth, educator development, and school accountability systems throughout Catholic schools across the Diocese of Green Bay.
Since joining Roncalli Elementary School six years ago, Lundy has provided faith-filled leadership centered on academic excellence, student growth, and Catholic identity. During her tenure, she has worked closely with faculty, staff, students, and families to strengthen the school community and support the mission of Catholic education.
“Serving the students, families, faculty, and staff of Roncalli Elementary School has been one of the greatest blessings of my professional life,” said Lundy. “Watching children grow academically, spiritually, and personally has been the most rewarding part of my career. While I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Catholic education on a broader level, leaving Roncalli is bittersweet.”
Lundy shared that her new role will allow her to collaborate with Catholic school leaders throughout the Diocese to support student learning, educator development, and faith formation initiatives.
Roncalli Catholic Schools leadership expressed gratitude for Lundy’s years of dedicated service and the positive impact she has had on the school community.
“Adrienne’s leadership has helped strengthen the culture, faith formation, and academic foundation of Roncalli Elementary School,” said Roncalli Catholic Schools President, Tom Korta. “Her dedication to students, families, and Catholic education has made a lasting impact on our community, and we are excited to see her continue that work across the Diocese.”
Throughout her time at Roncalli, Lundy became known for her strong relationships with students and families, visible presence within the school community, and commitment to nurturing the academic, spiritual, and personal development of each child.
“Roncalli Catholic Schools, especially the elementary school community, will always hold a special place in my heart,” Lundy said. “I will forever cherish the relationships, memories, and experiences that have shaped these past six years.”
Roncalli Catholic Schools also announced that Tom Korta, President of Roncalli Catholic Schools, will serve as Interim Principal of Roncalli Elementary School for the 2026–27 school year. Korta will help guide the school through the leadership transition while continuing to support the school’s mission of academic excellence and faith formation.
