The Forst Inn Arts Collective presents its 2026 Season, beginning with the edgy comedy God of Carnage and ending with the 10th annual performance of the holiday cabaret, Mistletoe Musings.
The Forst Inn Arts Collective presents theatre and music events in the historic spaces of The Forst Inn in Tisch Mills. The organization hosts ten mainstage theatrical productions each year as well as several smaller shows. Informal musical performances precede most theatre events and over the year several ticketed mainstage music events are hosted as well.
The 2026 Season features the following titles:
March 15 - Hardbean and McHonzik
They're irreverent, they're rowdy, they're just plain fun! Dan Hildebrand, Pete Honzik, and Jim VanLannen bring their often bawdy Irish ballads and their always wild and beautiful Irish wenches to The Forst Inn Pub for a great St. Patricks party!
March 21 - The Season Preview
A little sample from our theatrical season including 10 minute preview performances from our 2026 season along with complimentary appetizers and our season opening specialty beverages.
April 11-19 - God of Carnage
A polite meeting between two sets of parents to discuss their sons’ playground fight spirals into a savagely funny showdown that exposes the thin veneer of civility and the chaos simmering beneath.
May 2-17 - The 39 Steps
A mix of espionage thriller and madcap comedy, this high-speed stage adventure follows an ordinary man swept into a world of spies, murders, and outrageous disguises—all brought to life by a fearless cast racing through dozens of roles.
May 30-31 - The Ten Minute Play Festival
Nine short plays, one great night! These original pieces are locally grown and waiting to find an audience. These bite-sized plays pack a punch.
June 6-14 - Homebound XIX
This world premiere play will blow your mind! Funny, poignant, and engaging, it is a contemporary play blending realism, livestream culture, and mythic symbolism to explore grief, disability, intimacy, and the fear of loving in isolation.
June 20-21 - Loudly. Clearly. Beautifully.
This play with music examines the fragile and powerful bond between fathers and daughters, chronicles how life halts and morphs with chronic illness, and meditates on coming of age and into power after tragedy and grief.
June 27-July 12 - The Awesome 80s Prom
Step back in time to Wanaget High’s 1989 Senior Prom — an interactive, immersive party where you decide who’s crowned Prom King and Queen.
July 25-26 - Crooners and Divas
Vegas Comes to Tisch Mills complete with amazing jazz music, a generous buffet, and entertaining casino style table games. Our five amazing vocalists and hot jazz combo will transport you through the classic standards of the jazz world.
August 1-2 - The Layne Yost Trio John Denver Tribute
The music of John Denver is timeless and well known. Layne Yost's "Tribute to the Music of John Denver" is a faithful tribute that pays homage to the music and the man.
August 8-9 - Scarecrow
A sharp, funny solo play featuring Carrie Counihan. A grieving daughter returns to her late father’s Wisconsin farm and, through funerals, fertility clinics, feral kittens, and runaway bulls, learns to stand still in her loss and grow something new from the ashes.
August 15-29 - Rumors
When guests arrive at an elegant anniversary party in suburban New York, they expect cocktails and celebration—but the host is bleeding, his wife is missing, and no one knows what’s going on! In Neil Simon’s Rumors, chaos and confusion spiral into a frenzy of misunderstandings, cover-ups, and outrageous lies.
September 12-27 - American Idiot
Based on the electrifying music of Green Day, American Idiot explodes onto the stage with raw emotion and energy. This Tony Award-winning musical follows three friends searching for meaning in a post-9/11 world, where dreams collide with disillusionment and rebellion meets reality.
October 10-25 - Dial M For Murder
A cunning plan, a perfect crime—what could possibly go wrong? In Frederick Knott’s classic thriller Dial M for Murder, a suave ex–tennis star plots the perfect murder to rid himself of his wealthy, unfaithful wife. But when his meticulous scheme unravels, the suspense tightens with every twist and turn.
October 30 - The Forst Inn Sings Michael Jackson
THE FORST INN SINGS combines the vocal talents of the Forst's many performers and the music catalogs of popular artists and live musicians for an evening of popular music with a unique twist!
November 7-22 - Leading Ladies
A laugh-out-loud farce filled with mistaken identities, quick changes, and outrageous antics. When two down-on-their-luck Shakespearean actors learn of a dying woman seeking to leave her fortune to her long-lost nephews, they hatch a daring plan—only to discover the heirs are actually nieces!
December 5-20 - Mistletoe Musings
The Mistletoes return to their roots! Celebrating the 10th edition of our popular holiday offering, we return to the early years of Mistletoe Musings featuring beloved favorites in music and story. You'll enjoy a diverse collection of holiday songs along with readings from stories and poems from across the globe.
