MCHS Launches History Happy Hour for 2023 Season
The Manitowoc County Historical Society will be holding its History Happy Hour series at the Forst Inn in Tisch Mills on Thursday, April 20 from 5PM-6PM. As part of the Historical Society’s History Happy Hour series, guests will learn about the establishment’s rich history while browsing through photos and a timeline overview. Historical Society program shares stories of influential Manitowoc County women
The Manitowoc County Historical Society will hold a program in its signature Hungry for History series called "Historic Housewives of Manitowoc County." The program will feature the stories of local influential women. The program will be held on Thursday, March 23 at Branch Station, 8112 Village Drive, Whitelaw. Historical Society Plans Spring Clean Up for April
The Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc, is preparing for the opening of its spring and summer season in May with its annual spring clean up on Tuesday, April 25 and Wednesday April 26 from 9 AM to 2 PM. Historical Society holds 2022 Annual Meeting and volunteer recognition
The Manitowoc County Historical Society held their 117th Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 2 at the Washington House in Two Rivers. The annual event featured a business meeting, election of new Directors, and recognition of the organization's outstanding volunteers. Two Rivers Historical Society Executive Director Tootsie Sommers welcomed the group to the historic building and shared its history. Historical Society hosts Heritage Trades School, March 25-26th 2023
The Manitowoc County Historical Society will hold the Heritage Trades School on Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26 at the museum, located at 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc. Guests can choose one from a selection of classes featuring heritage skills including blacksmithing, carpentry, dressmaking, and more. Historical Society continues memory care programs in 2023
The Manitowoc County Historical Society has announced the schedule for its SPARK! programs for 2023. SPARK! is a free monthly program for individuals living with early-to-mid stage memory loss, their care partners, and family members. Participants are engaged in lively conversations, exhibit exploration, historic artifacts, and multi-sensory activities.
