A&W, Manitowoc, Share Night Fundraiser Supports Local History on September 24
The Manitowoc County Historical Society and A&W, Manitowoc (4141 Harbor Town Lane) have joined together to raise money and awareness for local history education at MCHS' Pinecrest Historical Village during a Share Night fundraiser on Wednesday September 24 from 4 to 8 pm. “We are so appreciative of our local restaurants and their efforts to help us raise funds to support our mission to preserve and share our local history,” said Amy Meyer, Manitowoc County Historical Society

The Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc, will host a Civil War School Day on Friday, September 26 from 9:30 am to 2 pm. As part of the day-long program, students will have the opportunity to discover more about Manitowoc County during the Civil War. Participants learn how the soldiers and citizens of the Union lived during the conflict.
