The Chamber of Manitowoc County in partnership with University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus, Lakeland University and Lakeshore Technical college are pleased to offer ADVANCED LEADERSHIP: Educate. Empower. Elevate. This exciting new program has been developed for the mid to senior-level managers, nonprofit administrators, and entrepreneurs seeking advanced leadership and communications skills to move their careers and organizations forward. Each session will be taught by instructors from the partner colleges.
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE / EQ
Presented by: Deron Poisson, Lakeshore Technical College

About Deron: Deron Poisson has 16 years of Organizational Development and Learning experience and currently serves as an Adjunct for LTC’s Workforce Solutions department and has his own Learning Consulting business called ELUVV8 Consulting. His company supports Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organizations, developing and facilitating content at no cost to them. Deron is certified in Achieve Global, Advanced Collaborative Exercises (ACE), Korn Ferry Leadership Architect Competency Modeling, The Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment, Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, and Inside Out Coaching. He is also Kirkpatrick Bronze Level Certified and has completed the Facilitating Career Development course through University of Wisconsin Madison.
Previously, Deron worked as a Curriculum Specialist for Johnsonville, LLC. His primary role was developing and managing curriculum and learning content that fostered the growth and development of the Johnsonville team, as well as facilitating leadership, culture, and communication offerings to a global audience. Deron also acted as the administrator for Johnsonville’s Learning Management System and created and managed Johnsonville’s Mentorship Program as well as conducting Career Coaching. Deron also served for 20 years in the United States Navy in increasing levels of responsibility and leadership, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer.
