The Chamber of Manitowoc County in partnership with University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus, Lakeland University and Lakeshore Technical college are pleased to offer ADVANCED LEADERSHIP: Educate. Empower. Elevate. This exciting new program has been developed for the mid to senior-level managers, nonprofit administrators, and entrepreneurs seeking advanced leadership and communications skills to move their careers and organizations forward. Each session will be taught by instructors from the partner colleges.
WORK LIFE BALANCE AND HOW CAN I ACHEIVE IT?

Ask yourself, "If I could only focus on one thing in my life, what would it be ...?” Work-life balance is a concept that encourages an ideal situation in which an employee can stabilize their time and energy between the professional and personal aspects of their life. So how do you shine in your career while making time for your loved ones? Work-life balance teaches us that we all have the right to be ambitious in pursuing our career goals, but not at the cost of losing important emotional and personal ties with people with whom we are going to share relationships with throughout our lives. Improper balance in your work commitments and personal responsibilities, more often than not, cause a tremendous stress between the different sides of a person’s life. The biggest problem is that most people think they have no choice, but that’s not really true.
