Description

Give back. Get outside. Connect.
Join us on Saturday, May 16th from 9:00–11:00 AM for a meaningful morning along the Manitowoc lakeshore as Young Professionals come together to help clean up a local beach.
We’ll be volunteering as a group and assigned to one of the cleanup locations, either Silver Creek Park Beach, University Beach, Lakefront Beach, YMCA Beach, or Lighthouse Park Beach. No matter where we land, you’ll be making a visible impact while spending time with other motivated young professionals.
✨ Why join?
- Make a difference in your community
- Meet and connect with other young professionals
- Enjoy fresh air and lakefront views while giving back
Bring a friend or come solo, either way, you’ll connect with others while helping keep our beaches beautiful!
We'll provide a meeting location as soon as they give us an assignment. Please provide accurate contact information, so we can reach out with details before the event.
Who are the Young Professionals of Manitowoc County?
The Young Professionals (YPs) of Manitowoc County is a networking and development group of individuals around the ages of 21–40 who live or work in the area. Everyone is welcome to attend their events (no membership required, YP events are open to the public).
Who are the Friends of the Manitowoc River Watershed (FMRW)?
Started by Kim Kettner and Wendy Lutzke in 2012, the Friends of the Manitowoc Watershed (FMRW) is a group of volunteers working to raise awareness about the water quality issues impacting the Manitowoc River and the land draining into it. We are committed to connecting people to the Manitowoc River through our hands-on events and educational workshops to increase appreciation, awareness, and use of the river. Find out more.
