Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (School Year)
Hourly Wage: $14.00–$15.00
 
Position Summary
Roncalli Catholic Schools is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Food Services team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen while supporting meal service for students and staff. Working behind the scenes, the Dishwasher helps ensure our cafeterias operate efficiently and safely each day while contributing to a welcoming, faith-filled school community.
 
Primary Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Safely operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Inspect cleaned items to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Properly organize and store clean dishes, cookware, and supplies.
• Assist with kitchen and dining area cleanup before, during, and after meal service.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean tables, counters, sinks, floors, and food preparation areas.
• Support food service staff with general kitchen duties as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Report equipment concerns or safety issues promptly.
• Follow school and department policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work comfortably in a warm kitchen environment.
• Ability to push and pull dish racks and carts.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage of $14.00–$15.00
• Part-time, school-year schedule
